T57181-37 - Air Compressor Appliance for "C" Frame Manipulator (Arm, 37" Extension and Cleat) - GE Locomotives
This tool connects with the "C" Frame Manipulator to safely remove air compressors
from the car bodies of GE Locomotives. The T57180-37 comes complete with a
37" arm (which connects to the bottom of the "C" Frame), an extension that connects
to the outermost top holes, and a chain fall assembly.
NOTE: The short chain length connects to the outer position of the extension. The
shackle that is already connected to the "C" Frame must be removed and connected
to the inner position of the extension, which can then be connected to the longer
length of the chain fall. The lifting cleat (shown beside) is attached to the air
compressor and then connected to the "C" Frame.
