This tool is used to help remove the MR check valve on an ACE locomotive. The piping arrangement makes it tough to remove the check valve without some means of mechanical force. This tool provides that force in a easy way to use. To apply the tool, rotate 90 degree's, or parallel to the floor, then rotate it upwards 90 degrees, adjacent to the floor. See the main picture and it will help you place the tool in the proper orientation.
