It is made to rotate the head to the left or right so you can access the head sealing surface or for any reason you need to work on the head while it is on it's side. There is another lifter we designed for the field that is coming soon that allows you to rotate the head forward so you can access the gasket surface area to clean before installing back on the engine. 2/17/26
