FDL Main Bearing Cap Lifter

This is an aluminum handle with an adjustable cradle to hold the GE FDL Main Bearing Cap during installation and removal. The tool is adjustable to both length and depth and the different positions are locked with a push pin. A knurled thumbscrew on the saddle tightens/loosenes the grip on the bearing cap and also allows a couple degrees of swivel to aid addressing the cap properly.
