Crankshaft Deflection Gauge Kit

This gage is used to determine crankshaft deflection during alternator installation on Evolution, and FDL, and Tier 4 engines. Simply attach the proper length mandrel onto the gage to correspond with the engine being serviced. Directly below the gage is a counterweight so that when the gage is positioned between the webs, it will automatically face downward displaying the gage face. The kit comes complete in a compact storage box for added protection. The dial indicator reads in .0001" gradations.
These are the standard mandrels that come with the T81254 kit:
T81252-2A Evolution Mandrel
T81252-2B FDL Mandrel
T81252-2C Tier 4 Mandrel for Nitrided Crankshaft
T81252-2D Tier 4 Mandrel for Induction Hardened Crankshaft
This kit and mandrels come with custom ground carbide points (T81252SP - Sharp Points) which thread into both the mandrel and opposing indicator stem and can be ordered separately.
Caution: The dial indicator reads in .0001" increments and is very delicate. This must be treated as an precision instrument otherwise it will break.

Because not every location will need all four mandrels this kit is also available as individual parts. The T81255 part number includes the gages assembly and storage box. If you select this option you can then purchase just the individual mandrels your location will need.
