This lifter was designed to lift the oil coolers on GE locomotives. It features a two piece design, with the T85680P Plate bolting securely to the oil cooler and the low profile T85681LA Arm attaching to the T57170 "C" Frame Manipulator. This tooling allows you to remove the oil cooler with the engine still in the belly pan. You have to remove the oil filter housing using tool, T86690. once the filter housing is removed, then you can reach in with the T85680 and remove the oil cooler.
